Bubl Timer is an interval timer for moments when you don't want to think. Each timer is a bubble: tap it to start, hold it for its history, and let it tell you when the wait is over.
On first launch, tap the big “add first bubl” bubble, or open Edit (the icon at the top right) and tap the + bubble in the dock. Pick a symbol, set the time with the − / + buttons for hours and the rail for minutes, choose a colour and a fill, then tap Add. Tap a bubble to start it. Tap again to hold it (tap once more and it carries on), double-tap to reset it. Press and hold to open its history.
On iOS 26 and later, yes. Settings → Ring until stopped. The bubble then rings on the Lock Screen until you tap Stop, even on Silent or in a Focus, and you can pick one of five sounds: Kiamba, Glassy, Underwater, Efexi or Loop. With it off, a bubble ends with one notification and the pop.
Open Settings → Notifications → Bubl Timer and make sure notifications are allowed. Alerts are scheduled on the device when a timer starts, so the app does not need to be open. They are delivered by iOS and need a phone that is on; a Focus or Do Not Disturb can hold them back unless Time Sensitive alerts are allowed for Bubl Timer. For anything that must not be missed, turn on Ring until stopped (iOS 26 and later). Bubl Timer is a timer, not a medical or safety device.
Turn notifications on in Settings → Notifications → Bubl Timer. The app keeps counting either way; the bubble shows the time left whenever you open it.
Open Edit and tap the pencil badge on the bubble. Four fills are available: Liquid, Smoke, Snow and Crystals. Save to keep the changes.
In Edit, hold a bubble and drag it to a new spot. Tap the red ✕ to park a bubble in the dock at the bottom, and + on a docked bubble to bring it back. The ✕ on a docked bubble deletes it for good. The icon at the top left switches between the Single, Pair and Trio views.
Open Edit and tap the gear beside it. Settings holds notifications status, the pop sound, Ring until stopped and its sound, what a tap on a running bubble does (holds it or resets it), haptics (Off, Soft, Full), the time since a bubble last ran, the Lock Screen countdown, keep screen awake, iCloud backup status, Delete everything, History, tips, Support and Privacy. The app version is at the bottom.
Long-press the Home Screen, tap Edit, then Add Widget, and search for Bubl. The small widget shows up to four running bubbles, the medium up to six, each with its ring and time left. Lock Screen widgets are added from the Lock Screen editor.
Every running bubble appears in one Live Activity on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. iOS ends a Live Activity after eight hours; the timer and its notification keep working. Turn it off in Settings if you don't want it.
Settings, Delete everything removes all bubbles, history and running timers, including the copy in your iCloud, and returns the app to its first screen. Your settings stay.
Settings, Haptics: Full ticks on controls and while scrolling, Soft keeps only the taps, Off silences everything including the duration rail.
Hold a bubble to see its starts as a list (with how much of each run finished and the gap to the one before), as Lanes (a 24-hour strip for each day), as a month of glowing days, or as a cloud of bubbles. Switch to All timers to see everything together. Clear a bubble's history, or all of it, from the bottom of the sheet.
On your iPhone, open the link that came with the code, or go to bubltimer.app/redeem and type the code. The App Store confirms it with your Apple Account and Bubl Pro unlocks in the app. If it does not show at once, open the Bubl Pro sheet in the app and tap Restore purchases.
Yes. Bubl Timer has no account and no servers. Timers, history and preferences stay on your phone, backed up only to your own iCloud. Delete everything in Settings clears both; deleting the app alone clears the phone copy. Details are in the privacy policy linked below.
